Lindy Kummings started Gloveables, Inc. in 2002. In 1994, Lindy was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer. Lindy emerged from the ordeal victorious. In 2001, Lindy began brainstorming. This is when she came up with the idea to apply colorful pleated oilcloth borders and attach them to standard rubber gloves to combine fashion with function! Only a year later, a patent was issued and Gloveables was born. They have appeared in "O," "British Vogue," "Readers Digest," and countless other publications. Lindy has now started on another venture with LindyLou's Tote bags. LindyLou's faux patent leather totes can be used as both purse and tote. A perfect beach bag, travel bag, diaper bag, gym bag.
